MP 1,1-5,1 Airplay 2 on cMP?

I own a cMP 2010.
Is there any option to use Airplay 2 on this device? Would like to buy an IKEA Symfonisk as my main speaker for my Mac.

I'm not sure whether what I'm about to suggest will do Airplay 2 streaming, but it is billed as supporting Airplay from any Mac hardware:

Perhaps I'm missing something obvious, but why couldn't you use this speaker with your Mac via Airplay 1?
