Airplay and surround sound support

Why is this not supported yet? Quite aggravating to not being able to utilize my subwoofer on my surround system

But the subwoofer should operate in any scenario, stereo or surround. Satellite speakers are probably different, but the sub should work as long as the amp or soundbar sends signals to it.

Interesting. I have a Pioneer VSX-45 receiver. When in stereo, it does not seem to output to the sub, only when in surround. Maybe i have a setting messed up somewhere?

Yup, you were right. My speakers were set to large as opposed to small. Working now

is the content surround content? I just play Apple Music atoms audio from my Apple TV to my home theater system and it sounds fantastic
