Airplay broken ?

Hi

Airplay used to work fine in Yosemite, now Video airplay doesn't work (my TV isn't available in the menu), and Audio airplay only works from iTunes... It doesn't work from the audio menu (ALT+CLICK), so i can't use it with spotify...

anyone else ?

sound's working for me with an Airport Express, using iTunes or the audio menu. I don't have a way to test video airplay.

No you're not, my atv2 is dead to my 2014 13" Retina Macbook pro.
Airdrop is also not working between this Mac and an iPhone 6 under 9.0 GM.

Just tested on my iMac and it seems fine for me. Video (mirror and separate display) and audio from VLC (using Alt-Click-Volume) all functioning correctly on my TV via ATV3 and latest El Capitan public beta.

Cause Airplay mirroring to an Atv 2 under 5.3 is broken, i presume Apple wants us to update our ATV2, or buy a new one.

lem3ssie if i update my atv2 i've jailbreak and i want sure airplay function very good first update

You're right, it has nothing to do for you and your ATV3, maybe can you tell more about your network, your Mac or iPhone.
But i made a simple test with Reflecor, updated for iOS 9 and El capitan, and Mirroring just works how it's meant to.

Okay here is how it is for me:

I got the option for AirPlay in general top right of my Screen. If I select AirPlay to Apple TV (not matter what option), nothing happens. I just can't get it to start. With iOS 9 everything works as expected.

So nothing new, of course it's supposed to work with latest AppleTv update, the problem is for us still under 5.3 (latest jailbreakable ATV), we don't want to update to latest update, not to lost JB.
I'll look further to reverse some files to Yosemite state.
