It was previously limited to 30hz which was frustrating because ios was able to do 60hz

I guess they finally fixed it for universal control

worth noting, airplay from mac didnt work from a fresh install of monterey on my external sandisk extreme drive
i had to install it on top of my existing big sur install to get airplay from mac to work (after having a time machine backup of big sur)
