So who do you guys think will be the first manufacturer to implement AirPlay into there HDTV's?
While I wouldn't give up my 60" plasma for 3D, I definitely would if AirPlay came built into TVs.
Airplay is Apple propietary. There's been an open standard for a while, DLNA, that many manufactures are building into their products. Unless Apple ditches AirPlay for DLNA, I don't see this happening anytime soon (TV manufacturers building AirPlay into their products).
It doesn't seem to be proprietary on Denon Receivers so I don't see why there would be a problem implementing it into newer TVs. Also I believe iHome is set to release an AirPlay wireless speaker system.
yep but a set of speakers is not a TV set from one of the mainstream manufecturers of LCD TVs.
I remember Steve saying AirPlay would be available for recievers, but I don't remember anything about streaming video.
Lets just cross are fingers lol
