Wierd issue, my Apple TV (2) can "see" my iPad and play pictures, movies, etc., but I have 2 iPhone 4's on the same network that I cannot get airplay to function on... Am I missing a setting or something?

I have an AEBS set up for dual band, and everything else functions fine. I have tried to connect the atv to both 5 & 2.4 networks. Neither will work with the iPhones.

Also, all items have been updated to ios 4.3

Any ideas would be great...

Sorry man, Can't help yah. All the iphones in my home can connect to the apple tv's fine after the update. Hope you get it fixed.

Did you try restarting you airport extreme?

Restarting Apple TV?

my only 2 suggestions.

Regarding airplay on the iP4 and iOS 4.3.

How do I stream videos from my camera roll?

I don't see an option for this?

You just click the Airplay icon next to the play button on the bottom right and select Apple TV. Just as you would Airplaying audio.

This happens to me all the time. Resetting the iPhone by turning it on and off always solves it. Just annoying since it happens every time I want to use it.

Working now. I had to close all the open apps (iPod, photos) in the status bar, then start the app fresh for it to recognize the AirPlay was available.

Note that I have tried it with both n and g bands on the router and it did not matter either way. I normally run the atv on the n band, and the iPhones connect through the g band. Worked fine this way after closing the apps and re-starting.

Sounds like newbie panic, I forgot the basics......

What worked for me was closing out of the Photos app and reopening it, then select the video or picture to airplay. The icon should show up on upper right.

OK I'm an idiot.:D

What also helps is to have an airplay enabled device ready to receive.

Working as it should now that I remembered that little tidbit.
