airplay or icloud video in 4K?

Despite lots of searching I can not find a clear answer as to whether it's possible to view 4K video shot on iphone on an ATV 4K. Does anyone definitively know if either airplay 2 or icloud photos will display at 4K or is it down scaled? Thanks.
