iphone6s with up to date software. 3rd gen appletv with up to date software. Both on same 5ghz wifi in my home. I'll start airplaying an embedded video on a page in Safari on my phone and everything is fine. After a few seconds of playing, the phone's black "airplay" screen dims and still everything is ok. A few seconds later the phone screen goes black and the AirPlay stops. If I wake up the phone, I'm back on the black "AirPlay" screen on the phone and the AirPlay on the tv starts over. I've restarted the phone and the appletv with no change. Very frustrating. And ideas? Thanks in advance!

Same issue here. Same thing happens on both the iPhone and iPad. One workaround I have found is to reload the webpage and that usually takes care of it. But it's still incredibly frustrating to have to do this every single time. I can only hope this is a known issue and a fix is on the way.

I'm pretty sure you need to set auto-lock to never, or at least that should solve your problem. Some apps behave this way, others do not.
