I want to play audio coming from my phone, on my mac...

Can I do this via bluetooth/airplay? I have a special podcast app that has features that mac software just doesn't have. Also, I have pandora skip hack, and I can't do that on computer...

If you're going to play music on your computer I'm assuming your listening through your computer.

Just use Pandora on your computer.

Expensive has always been subjective. It's not like there's a universal cutoff. 🙄

Airfoil.

Start the "Airfoil speakers" app on your Mac and it becomes a "AirPlay speaker".
Then play sound from your iDevice to it.

Costs 25$ but at least you can test it first 🙂

I was getting a blank (useless) box when attempting to use the freeware.

Download xbmc 11.0. It's free and streams music and video through AirPlay. I use it daily, only drawback is there it takes about ten seconds for music to start playing. Video plays instantly.
