AirPod Alternatives

I have absolutely 0 interest in the beats x. It seems like the same ol powerbeats or jay birds x.

The new wave of headsets like the airpods and bragi headphones or jabra elite pro are offering an experience with no wires which is something new.

I tried the bragi dash for a couple weeks before returning. The Bluetooth connection was shotty if it wasn't in a certain pocket. And the mic was only on one side vs airpods that seem to allow you take calls from either side. Also I don't see many people mention the case on the bragi dash is kind of large and you can fumble around opening it (its 2 separate pieces of metal) vs the airpods which look easy to take in and out (like a floss case).

I have been using the Jabra sport elite and I really like them. I have not lost a connection yet and the sound is very good for bluetooth wireless earbuds
 
Earbuds that look like tooth brush heads and a case that looks like floss... nice.
I like the anodized aluminum case of the Dash and haven't had any problems with the case. Easy slide that's it.

What does it matter what the AirPods case looks like? It's the smallest truly wireless charging case on the market. That's all that matters.

It matters to some people believe it or not. Just like how case size seems to matter to you.

Why would it matter though? I have a clear reason why the size matters to me.

Bragi Dash case is much bigger than the AirPods case. I value the size of the case more so than what color it is.

Fumbling around with a case can be annoying. The bragi dash is 2 pieces whereas the airpods case you flip open and it stays connected to the base so you don't need to worry about the other pieces dropping or flying somewhere.

Just saying a lot of people don't factor the case they are putting these things into before buying. You don't want it to be hastle take these things out or put them back.

Sounds like you agree with me?

Yeah I think the AirPods case is hugely convenient. I also think people will care more about the case moving forward because it's something you are more likely going to take with you on the go given it will be charging your headphones while not in use. I never gave much thought to my headphones case in the past because it did nothing but hold my headphones while not in use, and even then I usually didn't use the case with my X's for things like the gym and errands around town, etc.
