Airpod charging case replacement

Has anyone else gone through the replacement process for water damaged airpod case? I logged mine with apple support on Saturday and paid, they still haven't dispatched. Wondering if anyone had any experience of this service and how long it took?

I did recently. It took a couple of days and the support email went to junk. Anyway, it was about 6 days from order to the time I had the case.
