Can you tell the difference between lossless and compressed audio on AirPod max?

It depends on the track and how much I am paying attention to what I am listening to.

AirPods and AirPods Pro do not get lossless*. They get AAC 256.

*-AirPods Pro 2 & 3 get lossless if connected to an Apple Vision Pro.
