AirPod ringing volume issue

Hi all

I hope somebody can please help me. Before I updated to iOS11, if I was listening to music using my airpods and a call came through the ringing volume would be the same as the music volume. Now it comes through as maximum volume and it is driving me nuts and sending me deaf.

Does anybody know how to fix this please?

Thanks I know I can use that however if I turn the ringer volume down then I can’t hear the phone in my bag.

The ringer when using airpods in ios10 matched the music volume I had set for Bluetooth.

This seems to be quite a usability issue

I've made a post on this thread to replicate, as well as explaining the crux of the usability issue having to remember to change the alert volume
