I was able to get my hands on 4 pairs. I kept 1 pair and the other 3 sold within hours on Craigslist. I made an additional $60 on each pair I sold which meant my pair turned out to be free. If you consider that greed, than so be it
You are correct in that the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Equating tech gadgets to corrupt governments and people that will do whatever they can to whomever they want for money is a HUGE stretch.
I was in poor college student in 2000 when the PS2 came out and my best friend worked at the Best Buy in town. He would give me a heads up when they got new stock in and I would run down there and buy one and quickly flip it for a healthy profit. The money I made that holiday season helped pay some tuition. God Bless America.
I get why some get upset. But it's not like were talking about scalping food or fuel any other vital necessity. These are luxury gadgets, so if somebody can make a buck selling them, more power to them.
I bought a 2. Superdry leather jackets in the sales last year for £60 each. One was for myself and the other I planned to sell. I did in fact sell it for £143 so more than doubled my money. Was that greedy or just a sensible purchase?
Just a quick, casual look at some of your previous posts shows me you are the expert when it comes to greed so I won't even go there. I must say though, the last line in this post of yours made me crack up because well, if you have to compare bank accounts something's amiss.
