Me too!!! My new AirPods work perfectly with my iPhone but the connection to my Series 4 watch cuts out after about 30 seconds. I also am on the latest 5.2 Beta which is the newly released 5.2. So that isn’t fixing the problem.

I actually broadcast from my Apple Watch more than my iPhone so I can’t wait for this to be fixed.

What I did was removed the beta profile for the watch and updated the watch again. (Using the released version of watchOS 5.2)

And now my AirPods 2 don’t disconnect with my Apple Watch.

AirPods 2 with Apple Watch series 4 cellular works perfectly on watch os5.2. Just went for a run without the phone and was able to stream music and control it all via hey Siri. Zero drop outs in connection which I’m really happy with. My bragi dash pro was terrible with connectivity during my beach runs. The AirPods 2 didnt miss a beat. Very impressed!

Yep I second that. WatchOS 5.2 working beautifully with Gen 2 Airpods when using LTE and Apple Music

Ah, thanks for the good news. I thought the latest beta was the same. Apparently not.

Ok, I can con confirm that moving to the production version of 5.2 solved my Bluetooth issues.
