Airpods 3 vs. AirPods Pro without tips questions

1- Are these virtually the same in practice at that point just a bit cheaper + better battery life + no tips / noise cancelling options? Because though I havent tried it myself I've heard you can use AirPods Pro without tips you just lose on noise cancellation of course

2- how is the fit compared to APP without tips? I want to see if they will fit my ears before buying them, but I know trying the Airpods 3 will be the best way to do it in fact.

You need the tips on the Pros. The sound quality without them is bad. The Pros without the tips is much worse than the 3rd gen AirPods that were designed without tips, even though both look about the same.
