Ordered straight after the keynote. Replacing my first gen ones that I had on day one release back in the 7 Plus days. Oh how time flies and oh how tech changes.

Even though my generation one unit didn’t make it to this announcement and I do have a reasonably new set of GEN two… I did order these.

My only concern with them is that they made them so big that they might block out a lot of ambient noise just from the large bulbous shape. My favorite thing about the first and second generation versions is how much of the ambient environment I can hear so seamlessly. It allows me to listen to what I want to listen to while still maintaining my situational awareness.

I really hope that didn’t get ruined. There didn’t seem to be any way to know other than order a pair and try them out so I did

I had to replace my day one originals a while ago. The right earbud would only last 20 mins at most. .

Ordered. Have Gen 2’s and was considering the Pro’s. Thought I’d grab these and reconsider the Pro when the next version drops in 2022 some time. Love the amount of noise the APs allow you to hear when walking etc

Got mine ordered right at launch. Got tuesday (oct 26) as release date. I am replacing my gen 2 as main pair. I have always liked the design of the airpods cause they always fit my ear the best and I can wear them for long periods of time.

The Gen 2 will be my "active" pair. Currently my first gens are my active pair and they last 50 minutes. Thats almost enough for a full round of disc golf but looking forward to having the 4 1/2 hours my gen 2 give me.

I just ordered mine. These AirPods Gen 3 will be an upgrade from my not so good EarFun Air Pro 2. The EarFun Air Pro 2 had problems from the start and their customer service did not want them back and they only gave me a half refund.

About 2 months ago I tried out the APP a few times and they felt very loose, especially on the right side ear piece and the seal test stated good fit. The silicone eartips the APP had made my ears itch.

I never use both noise cancellation and transparency mode in the APP and EarFun Air Pro 2. Those two modes tend to lower sound quality and lower battery life.

Ordered straight afterwards as well. I’ve had an original pair of airports since around 2017. I’m away on holiday until Tuesday so they are being delivered to a family’s members house for me to collect when I get back 😁

Also ordered and down for delivery next Tuesday!

Have never had AirPods before so this will be my first pair. Have Galaxy Buds+ which aren't always the best fit. Got a trip coming up in November so these will be nice to have!

That's a shame. I own the earfun pros and love them. Really good stuff for 50 quid which i got on sale.

I lost my airpods 2 last week and purchased a new one on amazon. I'd gone ahead with the return and have purchased the airpods 3. I cannot figure out the case size. I was hoping the airpod pro case would work but that is not the case I believe

They are indeed different sizes

Just been looking case options. Majority have a carabiner attached and hard to find one without.

Found a few options (might save somebody else some time)

I was all over these as soon as the store opened, they'll be replacing my original AirPods which have really bad battery life now. I don't like AirPods Pro, I couldn't get a decent fit.

It's interesting to see that the delivery date isn't slipping from 26th at all. Either they've got plenty of stock or they're just not selling as quickly as I'd expect.

Ordered mine straight after the keynote. Delivery on the 29th.

With “Find My” does it work with the case or individual earpieces?

Ordered these immediately after the keynote as well. Tried the Pros after they launched and hated the feeling of them becoming loose in my ear and constantly feeling like I had to push them back in, so went with the 2nd gen instead.

love the design of the 3rd gen, and I have Sony’s if I want ANC.
