Hi,

Is it possible to disable completely the ANC when the airpods are connected with a Mac OS computer?

Hi,

I’ve read reports here on the forum that some form of ANC on the ANC model is engaged at all times even when turned off which is why I’m personally playing to buy the Non-ANC AirPods 4. Users are reporting feeling pressure in the hears from ANC even with ANC disabled so I definitely don’t want that

Personally I'd rather try the ANC version myself - buying from somewhere with a good return policy - rather than depend on (effectively) anonymous reports from random strangers across the Internet.

When I turn off ANC it’s fully off with zero pressure for me. Based on people saying they could feel pressure I compared them with my AirPods 3 to be sure and they feel the exact same as the 3’s when ANC is off.
