Since the Airpods 4 with ANC came out, I have had 3 exact same failures. One of the airpods will start exhibiting a loud ringing, especially when ANC is on. It happened within a month or two on the first pair, so I got it changed out under warranty. The second time it happened was a few months after that and so the warranty was done, so I eventually got him a new pair for christmas. Now 6 months in, boom - it happens again! I at least thought to get applecare this time, but WTF is going on?
