Amazon has just significantly dropped the price on Apple's AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation to $138.99, a $40 discount from their usual $179.00 pricing. This beats Black Friday pricing by around $25, making this a tremendous opportunity to pick up Apple's latest AirPods at a discount.

In addition to Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) on this model, the AirPods 4 also feature a redesigned earbud for increased comfort, the H2 chip for improved audio performance, up to 30 hours of battery life, and an IP54 rating for dust, water, and sweat resistance.

We're seeing delivery as soon as overnight for Prime members in some locations, so Amazon appears to have ample stock available.

I'm in love with a stripper

Now I'll be able to listen to that song with these air pods max

Good discount for the new AirPods. But AirPods Pro 2 were/might still be available for around $15 more. That will definitely be a better purchase.

I got ANC Airpods 4 about a week or so for myself with the Apple Store price matching the $160 price Amazon had. I plan on buying another pair at Best Buy in a few days for my daughter and hopefully this $140 deal is still going on!

meh. Dunno why anyone would spend $140 when the pros are around $150. Not mentioning that seems like it’s putting macrumors referral bonus over their own readers. Feels kind of slimy

Another demonstration Black Friday basically is a fraud
That “Friday” running every day from mid-September to several days after the actual day didn’t give it away? ;)

Sellers would call any day/sale any name if it could squeeze a few more dollars out of wallets and/or pile a little more debt onto their customers. Small Business Saturday. Cyber Monday. KuKooKaChu Tuesday. Pick a tag… any tag. If it adds a bit of surge to revenue, it will stick… and go viral with marketers.

Just wait for:
  • Max-Out-Your-Credit-Limit Thursday (they give you that on a sticker to proudly wear for all of your friends to appreciate your ‘accomplishment’) and
  • You-Don’t-Really-Need-2-Kidneys Wednesday (comes with a beautiful surgery scar, optionally in the shape of a dollar sign)… not to be confused with
  • You-Don’t-Need-All-Your-Teeth Tuesday, sometimes known as Chew-On-The-Other-Side Tuesday… or Applesause-And-Yogurt-For-You for those who really know how to max it out.
All ;)

I bought the very first AirPod Pros and I have one ear that just could not work with any size tip. I had to return them. It's not an experience I want to repeat, hoping for something that's just not going to happen.

Yep the in ear kind are just not for everyone. I had a pair of the first Pros as well, loved them, great ANC. (better than my AirPods Max!) But the fit/comfort is not for me. I will say as someone who has always hated in ear buds these were the most comfortable ones I've ever tried. Still wasn't for me though, after more than 15 minutes or so my ears just start to get irritated and any subtle facial movements or chewing starts to push them out of my ears where the normal airpods never have this issue.

I ordered these from Amazon the other day. I just asked Amazon to adjust the price on my order and they refused.

It isn’t related to Black Friday

Sounds like you might need a vacation, go spend some time in the sun doing things you like. Seriously.

What if someone told you that black Friday is the name of the shopping season, not merely one day. Would that enable you to sleep at night without feeling that you’ve been defrauded?

(Whispers)

“This is the price they should always be”

I have, and enjoy, an ANC set
The sound quality is just so so
I have them just for ANC on walks

I'm still not buying. The fact battery life is significantly worse with ANC turned on and the fact it's not a true in-ear monitor (IEM) with reasonable passive noise isolation makes it not viable for me.
