Airpods and 8 Plus

Now this sounds silly and i am waiting to be shouted down......but the volume of the airpods are louder than on my 7 plus......I have played the same song on both and checked the settings which are the same....

They are definitely louder on the 8plus than the 7 plus.......

I noticed they were definitely louder than normal when used with my Series 3 Apple Watch. Not with my 8 Plus though. They seemed the same on that. Wonder if new firmware is going out?

See, I always use the volume limit but when I purchased the iPhone eight I had to almost eliminate that because my AirPods are now much quieter.
