AirPods and iPhone X issue

anyone having issues with their AirPods connected to their IPx?

Listening to music it’s fine,
But when I’m on a phone call, I hear “shorting” sounds at 1sec intervals.
Tried re-pairing the AirPods still does it.
Restarted phone, still does it.

Carrier issue? IPx hardware issue?

T-Mobile gsm version fwiw.

Thoughts and opinions please.

Mine has been working fine, same as it did on my 7. Im with Sprint

Mine are working better on my X than they did on my 6, where they would disconnect at least once a day.

This is super annoying. I’m hoping it’s the AirPods. I’ll have to try it on another phone.

Mine connect intermittently. I’m hoping an AirPod firmware update will fix it.

Going to ask T-Mobile to reconnect me to their cellular network. Hopefully it’ll fix things.

I’m just hoping I don’t have a bad radio on my phone.

No issues with mine. Try forgetting the airpods and reconnecting.

called tmobile and had them reset me from their network.
seems to be better now.

will continue to test the next coming days.
