airpods, are you okay??

Suddenly my airpods won't pick up any voice commands or play music through them. Tapping them does activate siri on the phone, but that's about it. I've turned bluetooth on and off, and re-paired them and all that. Still nada.

What gives?

Are they the originals? How long have you had them?

Are they the originals? How long have you had them?

Originals. A few months, I'd guess. All worked fine until I heard some weird tones, like it was trying to connect, and then sort of died. I tried cleaning the airpods and case, but found that challenging to do.
