AirPods *Delivery* Date Change

My AirPods order was processed 9:07AM on December 13 and originally stated "Delivers: Tue 20 Dec by Standard Shipping".

I just checked "Orders" on Apple.com and it now says Delivers by December 29, 2016. I did not receive any email indicating the delay.

Has anyone else seen their delivery date change? You'll likely have to login to Apple.com or use the Apple Store app to determine this, as I was not sent any email about the delay and this was a big surprise.

Update: My order has now reverted from Preparing for Shipment, Delivers by Dec 29 back to Processing Items: Delivers by Dec 20 o_O

This seems to be happening to several early orders.
Mine was the 30th and remains at the 30th. I am off work now until the new year so i shall invest some time in hunting them down in the stores next week

Did the ship date ever change? I suspect this is a warehouse and logistics issue and the system is updating accordingly, but that the original shipment date will eventually stand.

no always been to arrive monday 19th december.
 
MINE JUST CHANGED!!!! From the 20th to the 29!! :( thinking of calling apple but don't if I should and what I would say
 
I said in another thread that I'd take shipping/delivery dates for orders with a grain of salt. Not saying some will not be met but ...

I am going to retailers next week, I ain't waiting.
 
I got an email from Apple... initially had a December 20th delivery date :(

Mine originally said delivery date was December 21st when it was in PFS status. I just got an email saying they had shipped and my deliver status has now changed to the 20th.

Hoping I get lucky and they somehow show up on Monday lol.

My delivery date was changed from Dec 21 to 20!! Thanks, Apple!!

I was on hold to talk to an apple person when I received a notification that my order was shipped !!...it's not the 20th like they originally promised but 21 is ok

While my order still says it will be arriving on the 20th (originally said the 21st), the tracking number shows that it has already arrived in my cities sorting facility. It arrived last night at 10pm, so I'm assuming that it won't take them 24 hours to sort and deliver. Hoping to have it on my doorstep when I get home from work!

Edit: looks like as of an hour ago, it's arrived at my local Fedex facility... hopefully they will update to "out for delivery" here shortly.
 
According to my tracking number, my Airpods are on the truck and out for delivery. The delivery date has been changed to today. I live in Kentucky, are any other US customers seeing that theirs will deliver today as well?
 
Mine arrived about twenty minutes away from where I live (at the final facility) late last night. Still no update that it's on the truck and out for delivery today but I'm hopeful.
