AirPods Impressions: ‘Better Than Expected’ Bluetooth, Sound, and Battery Impress Early Users

The new Airpods are nothing short of amazing.

Firstly, they definitely sound better than regular EarPods. Anyone saying other wise is either tone deaf or listening to mono podcasts.

Secondly, they have more volume, i.e. sound louder than EarPods. Again, hard to see someone missing that. Maybe a bad fit on the ear.

From my 30+ years of listening to music using headphones these are very good to excellent headphones for the price. If you count the fact that these are wireless phones, the range, volume, quality, battery life are hard to beat at any price.

Overall a very satisfied customer

Noooooooooo! I lost my right earbud today!

Watch out. It fell from my pocket the case - then I didn't realise that the right earbud flew away and I got home ((((

Make sure if you drop the case to immediately open and check if everything is inside.....

You cannot imagine how frustrated I am right now.
And it's not yet possible to ask for a spare.... (

As a side note, my Sony XBA-C10IP was rated best by Wirecutter a few years ago for earbuds under $100.

I bought a spare because they were discontinued. Great IEMs for the price and the quality is great. The physical design is so unassuming.
