Airpods Max automatically connect to Apple TV 4K

Hi,

I only use my Airpods Max with the Apple TV 4K 3rd generation. But, the Airpods Max do not automatically connect to the Apple TV. I have to always press a button on the Apple TV remote or go through menu to make it connect. Is it possible to configure Apple TV to always automatically connect to Airpods Max as soon as I put it on my ears?

Question! when you use YouTube on the Apple TV can you turn off your TV and turn it back on later and the YouTube video will resume?

Not possible, you have to press the button on the remote.
