I'll buy a pair when they are $400 AUD (never).
I love my AirPod Pro's, but when i went into the store to give these a listen. They sounded decent, but not for the price they are asking for.

I hope Apple doesn’t cut and run with this line. Fix the purse, fix the weight, you’ll really have something going there. The price is a big hindrance, but the design is hurting it more.
Out of interest, have you got a pair? From my personal experience I struggle to understand the weight issue. The case is whatever, I'm not traveling at the moment so never use the thing, but I case see it being problematic when the time comes to throw them in a bag.

Is there anyone that had the Sony WH-1000XM3 (or 4) and the new Apple headphones, that can compare both of them. Specially the weight would be of concern for me - I find the Sony already heavy enough. Hard to say which amount of sound quality justifies a stiff neck ....
There are literally dozens of reviews that compare the two here and elsewhere online. What I'll say is the first time I took them out of the box they were shockingly heavy in hand. Then I promptly forgot about the weight once I had them on and haven't thought about it sense. It's a non issue as far as I'm concerned. Sort of like a really expensive watch is heavy.

Well - I was more into a "real" statement from somebody from the group than an online review, so thanks for that. Judging from the reviews I have no reason to replace my Sony WH-1000XM3 - still I fell some irrational temptation.
