My brand new Airpods max are leaving Marks on my furniture when i leave them with the ear cups down.

anyone else that has noticed similar problems?

they are only one week old and has played a maximum of 1 hour

I had been over 48 hours now without them disappearing. I wear absolutely no hair products (I am bald). I wear no creams or other beauty products .
 
Looks like oil or sweat from your ear/head transferring from the ear cups to your furniture. The ear cups are fabric and are as inert as they can be, so it's unlikely for them to stain your furniture.

When they lay on the side, the problem is also there i Can see

this is after 10 minute lay
I have never experienced anything like this with other brands. Sony, Bose . Strange

Hehe :) I do not sweat or work out at all . And I haven’t noticed any leaking from my brain :D .

I mostly suspect that they are treated with some sort of spray protection during production.

I have the same issue with my headphones (Bose quietcomfort something), I think it's due to skin oil or whatever.
I managed to get rid of the circles by wiping it with some alcohol.
