AirPods Max Noise Cancelling on calls

Hello everyone,

I want to know if people that have AirPods Max are experiencing the same issue as me.

Apparently when I’m having a phone call with my AirPods Max connected to my iPhone and I have the ambient noise mode ON or the noise cancelling mode ON, in places where there is a lot of bodies, like a metro station, the person that I’m taking yo ok the phone call always tells me that they hear a lot of the noise from the ambient.

Are any of you experiencing this? It seems to be crazy to think that the a iPods max don’t reduce ambient noise or that they amplify ambient noise while using them during a phone call.

My AirPods Pro are the same, when talking, passing cars sound really loud to the other person.

I got the Airpods Pro and friends have been complaining about sound basically since I got them. Walking outside with cars, closing doors, doing some easy cleaning and washing, all sounds very annoying to them.
