AirPods Max - Sold out on Amazon? Refresh coming sooner than expected?

Looks like Amazon is virtually sold out of new units of AirPods Max. Might this signal a refresh sooner than anticipated?

There were not available in local Apple stores in my area a few days ago then they popped up again.

The Homepod (full-sized) also looks to be sold out on Amazon. I'd guess that this is just due to low demand, for both it and the APM.

That means nothing. We just got done with the Christmas holiday. Selling out of a product doesn't always equate to a new product release being eminent.

From what I have read the MAX is not going to get much of a refresh. USB-C will be nice but the MAX is still too big and heavy for my long term wearing and will stick with the Sony units. As far as NR goes, Aoole's MAX still can't be beat!

I'm looking forward to the next Apple AirPods Max 2, which could include lossless bluetooth audio. And hopefully, more comfort and a case.

If you can hold out for another 12 months, you're on the safe side.

AVP is probably drawing a lot of resources at Apple. So something like the APM is the literal rounding error.

I have to increase my office-time from 20% to 40% this year. So I'm not exactly thrilled to wait another year for those...

Yeah I don’t really want to wait. But I’ve also waited 2 years thus far, so maybe another 12 months can’t hurt. I’m joking.. not really.
