AirPods, Order/Shipping Thread

8:54AM PST order via Apple Store app (yay AppPay). Although I missed the first availability batch, I did get a 1/12 delivery date and was satisfied with that. My card was charged this morning and the Apple Store app now shows "Preparing for Shipment." That was a delightful surprise, and reminds me of how the Apple Watch Series 0 launch played out. I recall receiving mine earlier than promised. Looking forward to the AirPods as my "daily driver" and save wear and tear on my fav Bose QC20's for travel and times when real noise cancellation is desired.

My order was also placed at 8:54AM PST but I'm still in processing and card has not been charged. Really hoping it happens soon!
 
My order was placed at 12.26 EST and got a 1/12 delivery date. I saw a lot of 1/12 orders changed their status to PFS and I'm still in ¨Processing". Anyone with an hour next to me has seen a change of status?

Ordered at 12:35 and I'm also still processing. The waiting is getting real tough.
 
I've just placed my order at the Apple Online Store, because a reseller who had an expected delivery date set next week now says it will come in 4-5 weeks ...

Apple says I can expect it the 14th of February .. ;-)
 
The AirPod thread action have really slowed. Has everyone resigned to their ship date and given up on store inventory, received them already, or were there only five of us here to begin with?

Having a bout of faith that Apple is cushioning delivery times, like they have done before. Maybe just maybe there will be enough to get deliveries earlier than expected.

12/23 update: got the shipping notification this morning. Left Shanghai today, and are scheduled for 12/28 delivery (as per Apple, UPS says 12/27). So excited, and I'm happy to see Apple really hunkering down to get these to as many people as soon as possible.

Hope that means my 12.26 EST order will change it's status really soon

Got my BB order yesterday and my 12/29 Apple order is Out For Delivery today. I'm out of the Airpod hunt finally.

I got shipment confirmation for mine that were originally supposed to arrive 1/12. Tracking originally showed delivery on 12/27 but now it has been updated to 12/28. I'm not complaining though, I am just excited to get them early!

My AirPods have been sitting at the local FedEx facility for about 6 hours now to be delivered today. I usually get my deliveries early in the morning, but I'm assuming the package just missed the morning truck 😳

I have the exact same status on my Apple order. Received my BB order from Monday's brief window last night. So far the AirPods are working exactly as advertised. Well worth the wait.

Looks like I won't be getting my AirPods before Christmas 🙁 After being in my state for 12 hours and out for delivery for 3 hours, my tracking page now says the scheduled delivery date is Tuesday 12/27...
