Hey all. I've had my 1st gen AirPods Pro for a little over 3 years now and everything has been working. I recently attempted to clean the tips and unfortunately, when I removed one of them, it tore. Apple's website shows AirPods Pro 1, Gen. 1 in Medium is out of stock and not available anywhere.

Does anyone know if I can use AirPods Pro 1, Gen. 2 for my Gen. 1 AirPods Pro? The web site implies that they won't saying "Replacement ear tips, only compatible with AirPods Pro (2nd generation)." but I'm kinda shocked that something so simple would be made unavailable.

I'm hoping it can. Not looking forward to searching the gray market for these, or worse, forced to buy AirPods Pro 2 for no real good reason.

I use Comply Foam tips for my Airpods Pro and they sell the same parts for AirPods Pro 1 and 2.
