AirPods Pro 2 constantly charging while Idle

Is it normal for the case to be constantly charging the AirPods? I haven’t touched them for a week (fully charged when left) and the case is draining slowly while the charging symbol constantly being on the pods the whole time.
If the AirPods are fully charged then in my eyes they should both go idle, right?
