Hello all,

I know this sounds a bit generic but I'm suspecting if there's something faulty with my airpods or does everyone has the similar issues. I've been using the pods pro 2 for months and it certainly feels like a downgrade in some ways. TBH I don't know how to report those in technical terms but if you have a way of to do somehow please let me know and I'll try to reproduce the issues that I'm having. Or have it checked.

- The audio quality is not as good. Sometimes the quality gets really low, feels like I'm listening low bitrate music. The only way to fix it just to place the pods in the case and let it rest for a few minutes.
- Sometimes a slight hiss on the left earpod when the noise cancellation is on. That is persistent whether if the music is on or on a call.
- That hiss becomes much more obvious on calls.
- Random disconnections. Not happens too frequent but in an annoying rate it happens.

Does anyone has similar issues? I had a very high pitch issue on my previous gen pods and I'm suspecting whether if this is a production fault or just my pods.

Do you happen to be using your AirPods when the mic is also active? macOS has a weird quirk where the quality of audio is degraded when using bluetooth devices as a mic. If you swap the input source to your Mac, you might see an improvement.

Coincidentally I was writing this up after a call with my airpods on where they were connected to my macbook. The meeting wasn't on and the mic wasn't actively used by that time. I do have the similar issues even if it's connected to macbook as well :(

Forgot to mention that when I first got my airpods the find my (near field bluetooth) function didn't worked. I had to reset it couple of times and gave up eventually. It started to work by itself.

And after that as I've noticed the noise issues I've also reset Airpods a few times but the results were same.
