Hi all

I have just got a full replacement for my AirPods Pro 2 as the FindMy stopped working. Do Apple send every component separately, i.e the 2x AirPods in a Left box and a right box, and a separate box for the AirPods case? I thought as I was replacing the whole thing, they would send one whole package with everything in it.

I’ll find out shortly. My AP2 case & pods were washed last week 😂

edit: I always take my AP2s with me when I go to bed. Last week I was also wearing a shirt w/pockets. When it was lights out I just put my APs in the case and that into the shirt pocket.

sPent an hour or so looking for them next day. Had to use the ‘find my’ sonar type location. At one point I realized Uh oh and sure enough I found them in the washing machine. Case was still about 50% charged and the APs themselves were ~10% charged.

Everything charged up properly but the noise cancelling is totally bolloxed and everything has an echoey, high pitched squeal. But they work 😅

I haven’t made a claim yet since I have to make a claim on an Apple Watch s9 as well, and I’ve been very lazy with that b/c other than a cracked screen it works perfectly 9NAD SINCE I use it to track dialysis related issues I wouldn’t want to be w/o it for a millisecond).

Plus I’m in a small town of 7,500 about 600km/360 miles away from an Apple store/center. When I do the claim/replacement I will update here.

The AW is an even stupider claim; I fell when taking recycle out at 4:30am when it was dark, mot using myiPhone’s flashlight. Driveway is ~300ft long and sloped at ~30 degrees.

Have already bought a waterproof case for the AP2s

Hi sorry I can't answer your question but just wondering how did you get the replacement for everything? AirPods buds + charging case

I tried calling support and requesting to use AppleCare+ Express Replacement service and apparently the ERS only covers the buds and if I want the case too, I need to head to the store (and get it checked or something)

Do I really have to smash them to claim the "accidental" damage? I just want a replacement because they're no longer holding as much charge and look really worn
