AirPods Pro 2 not showing on battery widget

Anyone else missing battery levels of AirPods and AirPods case in the battery widget all the time when nearby?

Used to always show even when not in use.

AirPods are not running the beta.

Yep that’s what I do instead. That but still works but the ultra wide band chip thing used to show the battery levels all the time and it was great.

Anyone confirm that the beta AirPods firmware fixes this?

I have the same issue. AirPods SoC showing up in battery widget but the case won’t anymore. Maybe it’s a bug with the latest AirPods FW or an iOS/iPadOS 17.2 issue.

Can anyone confirm that the case is not showing up anymore? Other option would be a defective case on my side.

It the battery info shows up as soon as I put the headphones in the case again. iOS 17.2 with latest Airpods 2 fw.
The case without headphones don't give me a battery status.
Not sure but I think they did in the past even without the headphones back in the case, but could be wrong.

Not a biggie for me tho.

AirPods Pro Second Gen are able to transmit battery information without the need to have the AirPods in the case actually.
This is realized by the UWB Chip inside the case.

That worked great in the past but now the case won’t show up in the battery widget anymore. The „case open popup“ still works as expected.

I had this problem, got in touch with Apple and they said to do a factory reset on the Airpods, fixed it.

Unfortunately a reset didn’t helped.

I was able to fix it. Had to disable „find my“ in AirPods Bluetooth Settings. After enabling again, the case shows up in battery widget and find my again.
