I own a pair of APP 2 and the ‘Find My’ doesn’t work which is annoying. I can’t fix it. Other than that the Pods work normally. I have wondered if there is any point in upgrading to the Pro 3?

Has anyone upgraded from the Pro 2 to the Pro 3? Is there much difference in the audio and ANC? These on my Pro 2 I would say are pretty good. The translation feature doesn’t interest me.

Thank you.

I have both (idiot me - I planned to buy the APP3 Pro when they went on sale and, if I decided to keep the, trade in the APP2, only to discover that Apple doesn't offer trade-ins for them). For me the APP3 are slightly better at ANC, mostly because the tips seal better for me, but aren't that much better. APP2 remain the ones that I use if the APP3 batteries are spent (such as on a long flight), or if I watch TV and on our second TV and don't want to bother my wife when she watches on the main TV, but I can workout with the APP3 when I couldn't with the APP2 - they just don't seal well for me. I also have almost four year old Beats Fit Pro that I use for workouts, but I am using them less now, because Adaptive mode on the APP3 (and APP2) are so much better than manually switching between transparent and ANC modes on the Beats.

I've had the APP3 for about 6 weeks and just did a round-trip flight for the first time the past week and they were perfect. APP2 would need to be re-positioned occasionally (such as if I yawned), but the APP 3 did not have that issue for me.

By the way, the translation feature works with APP2 - it's not exclusive to APP3.

The APP2 didn’t fit/stay in my ears while running. The APP3 do. I can run for miles. No issues. So glad I upgraded when they were on sale for $199. Love my 3s.
