AirPods Pro 2 volume resetting

I have noticed that the volume of my APP 2 keep resetting everytime I reconnect them to my iPhone. This is media volume, Siri volume, call volume etc. anyone else having this issue? Any fix?

It certainly does it with my AW U1. I wonder if it has to do with the 'personal volume' thing?

Every time I connect to my watch to listen to an audio book I always have to turn up the vol.
