I was worried it featured a new U2 album at first glance.
Lol but I guess at this point it might not hurt?
I still haven't found what I'm looking for...
Keep looking. You will get there. :p
Helpful for when you still, haven’t found, what you’re looking for.

Edit: touché @psxp, touché.
This one gives me a good laugh. Thanks. ;)
First they put a U2 album in my iTunes, now they're in my AirPods 😤
Loaded onto onboard U2 chip. Pretty fitting don’t you think? Though it would be very interesting if U2 chip has SSD in it however small it might be to store some samples for onboard ANC processing.
that U2 Album is still haunting me and occasionally appears in my playlists …
Yeah now I have recalled all of my vivid memories. U2? :p (Puns intended)
It’s what the AirPods play by default when they can’t connect to any device.
Or what AirPods play by default whenever you start using it but no music app launched prior, meaning it is not possible to just use AirPods ANC and don’t listen to any audio.

OK, that's a small but welcome improvement to the case.
Is there any change to the range at which the AirPods can be tracked/located (not the case, but the AP's themselves)? Is there a U2 or equivalent chip inside each of the two AirPods? If not, how is tracking functionality implemented in AP's? Might it be a part of the H2 chip?
There's no separate U-series or equivalent location chip inside each Airpods earbud. These chips are too big, power-hungry, and run too warm for earbuds. The H-series chip in each earbud is both the brains and contains the Bluetooth beacon circuitry for finding them. The Airpods Pro 3 earbuds seem to be getting the H2 chip, same as the Airpods Pro 2, so finding range for individual earbuds is probably essentially the same, but if they're in their case, you'd be locating the case's U2 chip with its greater finding range than the Airpods Pro 2 case with its U1 chip.

With or Without You… I can’t hearrrrrrrr… with or without you.

It’s a Beautiful Day, didn’t lose an AirPod today, it’s a beautiful dayyyy.

It’s alright it’s alright, Find My works in Mysterious Ways….

The marketing materials mentioned 1.5x increase in distance than Airpods Pro 2 only, and Airpods Pro 2's range is even shorter than the AirTag...

Good feature. Longer range will be useful if one is losing the case. Would have liked the AirPods 4th gen to also have this.

Accordingly, the main benefit of the U2 chip in the AirPods Pro 3 case is up to 3× longer range compared to the U1 chip in the AirPods Pro 2 case
I don’t think this is correct. On Apple’s site, they say: “A new generation of Ultra Wideband technology in the Charging Case increases the distance for Precision Finding by 1.5x.”
