After hearing voice feedback during workouts, I often hear one or two “clicks” in my AirPods after the voice feedback stops. It’s a similar sound you get when you swipe the stems to increase/decrease volume.

Is anyone else experiencing this? I’m trying to determine whether it’s a software bug or a hardware defect with my AirPods.

Found a temporary solution.
Disable Siri announcements in the workout app for Apple Watch. Then the clicks are gone. Hope Apple will fix via a firmware for AirPods soon.

I returned the AirPods Pro 3 and went back to using my AirPods 4 until there's a fix.

Ignore my previous post. Problem is still present in the new AirPods firmware. I’m starting to believe that this is a WatchOS issue.

Hi PatrickNSF
I have now found the issue and solved it on AirPods Pro 3!
The culprit was head gestures. Disable that and Siri kan now speak without any clicks during workout or normal use.
Merry christmas and a Happy New Year! 😁
