AirPods Pro 3 Drop Under $200 for the First Time in 2026

Best Buy today has a match of the record low price on the AirPods Pro 3, available for $199.99, down from $249.00. This is the first time in 2026 that we've tracked the AirPods Pro 3 at this low price, which matches the best deal we saw over the holiday season. Right now, only Best Buy has this best-ever price on the AirPods Pro 3.

This model of the AirPods Pro launched in September 2025 and has 2x better Active Noise Cancellation than the previous generation, better audio quality, a revised fit that's meant to improve comfort and stability, Live Translation for in-person conversations, and heart rate sensing for workouts.

the bud / tip shape redesign no longer fits in my ears with any tip. they all slide out or are too small making ANC useless. Thanks Tim

That’s true, but $199 at Amazon is a better deal because 2 years of AppleCare brings it to $240.

Just wait for it to go on sale at Costco. I got it for $219, great deal. $70 value.

Just opened mine from Christmas. Getting the tips off is a b!tch, but once I got the XXS tips on ... magnificent! I used XS in the APP2, but these go deeper into my ear canal and they're comfortable.

I also got it for $219 from Costco. And, for whatever reason, the AppleCare+ for me goes for 27 months.
 
I’m ok with my APP2 so no real urge to upgrade and get these but the price is good. Personally I would rather save my money for the next version of the Max, assuming they even make one.
 
The 3s really have insanely good ANC. But music sounds better on the 2s. The 3s have a hyped treble, making them a bit shrill. And somehow they drain the excitement out of exciting moments in music. For one of many examples, that exciting rise in "Jessica" (Allman Brothers) sounds as great as always on the 2s, but it's just a bunch of lifeless notes on the 3s. So - the 3s are better if you regularly need overwhelmingly good ANC on airplanes ... but the 2s are better for everything else. I'm debating whether to return my 3s. (The ear tips of both fit me pretty well, so that's a non-issue for me.)
