Sadly, I am returning my AirPods Pro 3. The left AirPod is slightly louder than the right. I don’t get this with my Pro 2s. I have ordered a new pair. I am hoping it’s a defective pair. Wish me luck.

I have just come on here to find threads reporting unbalanced sound. It seems like I am experiencing the same thing.

I have got a second pair. Totally different batch because one is made in China and the other Vietnam. They are the same. There is something about the sound separation on these that makes me feel like it’s unbalanced.

How are you guys able to tell that one is louder than the other? Is it a significant difference? I tried to see if mine had the same volume on both but I think my mind is playing tricks on me. Is there a specific track or video that I need to listen to?

For me it’s about focusing to the voice and mids. It’s off from the Center Point in my head knowing that this sounds weird tho 😁

I have concluded it’s a software issue now that I’ve had it on two pairs manufactured in two different countries.

As the above poster says, the ‘centre’ of the stereo sound is offset to the left in my case.

In mono audio mode in accessibility settings, the problem goes away.

It also goes away when Spatialise Audio is enabled.

Unfortunately, I returned mine as well because the right one kept cutting off phone calls and making scratchy noises. And of all things, my AirPods two Pro fit fine but the three the right one kept falling out as well no matter what your adapter I put on it. Disappointed.

I have the same exact

I have the same exact issue, however it is still noticeable even when I turn on mono audio, maybe it’s less noticeable with spatial audio turned on. Although I love the sound signature, I think I’m going to return mine, a deal breaker for me.

Just got my second pair. Problem persists. However, I am not sure it's a sound separation thing. When I have them in my ears with the music turned off, I hear more outside noise in my right ear than my left. I feel like maybe my right ear just has an odd shape for it to get a good seal. I am using the XL tips as those tend to help with the imbalance. I love the sound signature in these so I REALLY want to keep them. I will keep experimenting with them.

I second this, I returned my pair today, after giving it one more chance last two days, I came to the conclusion that my right ear canal is what’s causing this imbalance, the Adaptive EQ technology somehow boosts most frequencies in the left channel and lowers them in the right, even trying on the pods backwards, the sound still veered to the left. my right ear canal is oddly shaped, so even with my IEMs, the fit has always been better on the left, right one is somewhat shallow but I never had any sonic issues. I really wanted to keep them as well, but I couldn’t possibly with the imbalance, just gets under my skin.

Hi all! One last post on this. I have decided to keep them! Adjusting the balance +1 to the right seems to even the sound out. I can live with that. I love the way these sound so I couldn't see myself returning them.
