I predict the APP3 eartips will continue the design of too small, too oval, too flimsy, too shallow, and too slippery. And the case won't allow for larger aftermarket eartips, same as ever.

Now back to my B&W Pi8's with AZLA Crystal tips.

Wooo, it's time to get stoked for the ALL NEW AirPods Pro 3. They are a game changer and the BEST AirPod Pros that Apple has ever released. They are truly the AirPods for ultra pros!

We are flying on vacation later this summer and I am thinking about buying a new APP2 to have NC for the flight. Seems a bunch of retailer have the APP2 discounted now

The Airpod Pro 2s are not really great at general noise cancellation, but they work very well for reducing airplane noise.
Just be very careful one doesn't fall under the seat, or you might never see it again.(Happened to me on a redeye... fortunately the steward was super helpful and after 5 minutes of crawling under sleeping people's feet in the dark, he found it.) Those things bounce around as unpredictably as footballs.

AirPods Pro are a day one upgrade every time for me. Such an amazing product, and my Pro 2s are in much better shape than my first gens were, as the battery life fell off a cliff and they had some occasional weird issues with noise cancellation and a strange popping sound.

Even so I’m looking forward to even better noise cancellation when I’m using machinery in my shop or mowing the lawn, and likely a bump in battery using the newer chip, especially if I turn off the heart rate stuff which I just doubt I’ll need having an Apple Watch. USB-C is also nice since I have older 2s but honestly I usually have a free MagSafe or Apple Watch charger to pop them on. USB-C is nice when traveling. Really hoping the iPhone can reverse charge them this year. A slimmer case would be nice since it can be a little chunky in the pocket, but what I really want is a black, or at least a Space Black colorway. Or maybe titanium.

First day purchase for me. Have been holding on to my Gen 1 for far too long. ANC doesn’t work anymore but I still use them daily.

Looking forward to USB-C, volume controls, better ANC and longer battery life,. Don’t really care about health features though.

... saying something so that I'm auto-prompted to look at this thread, in the hope of learning more than confirmation that Airpod Pro 3 is expected this Autumn.

btw, what might be the downside of buying the Airpod Pro 3 in the US, rather than the UK? Apple usually sets the same figure for US$/Euro/UKP and the £/$ exchange rate is now far from 1:1 at present.
