AirPods Pro ANC on iPhone 6?

Looking to buy some AirPods Pro specifically for the noise cancelling and wondering whether it (ANC) would work on the iPhone 6 (not 6s)?

It isn't clear whether the AirPods Pro are compatible including ANC with iOS 12.5 and BT 4.0.

Not sure what type of functionality you'll have with the iPhone 6 on iOS12 but your device isn't listed on the comparability list on Apple's website for AirPod Pro's so I suppose some features won't work.
