The best wireless buds I’ve ever used, and that includes the new Sony, Beats Pro, Jaybirds. And many others. Legit noise cancellation, incredible sound, unbelievable comfort. These are why Apple remains at the top.

You're saying the sound quality of these is better than that of the Sony WF-1000xm3?

On the sound quality front, alone, that'd be surprising.
Or did you mean as a total package they are better (to you)?

You're going to hear polarizing reviews in sound quality for these headphones because of earplug fit. Get use to it.

For sure.

I'm just surprised people aren't cognizant enough to realize that the in-ear vs outside of ear design change alone will make a big difference here.

Everyone's like "they sound SO MUCH BETTER than my other AirPods!"
No S Sherlock - they are a different design that provides passive isolation.

Some people actually said Airpods 2 sounded much better than Pro so YMMV I guess.

For one thing, comfort. They are sooooo much more comfortable than the Beats pro. Also with the Beats Pro I feel like I have to jam them down in my ear to get good sound. The APP just sit in there nicely. They are loud, have great base, and are super secure. I also hate the massive case that comes with the BP.

They seem to be getting great reviews. I'm going to stick with my Beats Pro as I use them for working out. Earhooks and sweat resistance are a must.

Is it worth getting these compared to the Airpods pro considering the $100 price difference?

To me you need to be really interested in the noise cancellation and/or prefer the in-ear style/fit/experience.

Regardless of what one things of the new Pro's, it's a significant price jump from the entry point of v2/non-WC AirPods.

I really wish they'd done a non-wireless-charging case option for the Pro's to lower the entry price of them, particularly since AirPods (of all models) are essentially "use for 3 years and then they are garbage with little/no battery life left" products - meaning that the price paid actually matters a lot, since you won't be using these for "7-10 years" to get the max value out of the price paid.

Absolutely yes. I have had the original Airpods and wireless case AirPods 2, and also occasionally use my WH1000XM2’s but got hot head quite quickly with those.
I also had the jabra elite 65t’a and liked those a lot but preferred the airpods2 to those.
I can now stop trying To find good in ear NC headphones, I’ve found them.
I’ve had these in for four hours today so far.

Totally agree.

As a user of Airpods on a daily basis for work calls, working out, listening to music etc. I have to say the Airpods Pro are quite a step up for my use.

-The fit is excellent. My Airpods 1 and 2 stayed in my ears but sometimes fell out. I have zero worry with these things.
-Sound - they sound great to me. Deeper and more bass but likely because seal and fit are so much better.
-Smaller stems are nice.
-Now for the noise cancellation. I popped these in and was amazed how well the ANC worked. It works really really well. Also think it's cool how you can ask Siri to turn on/off ANC and Transparency mode instead of holding the stem.

Some may feel these are overpriced but I'm perfectly happy with them given how much I use them.

The bass is a bit stronger than regular AirPods but I find the overall sound very, very similar to AirPods, they didn't reinvent the wheel here. I think what makes them sound "SO MUCH BETTER!" is that many folks are used to listening to their AirPods in noisy environments that the AirPods Pro nearly eliminate so the actual music or spoken word becomes the star now... if you listened to both AirPods and AirPods Pro in a totally quiet room and you have a good fit with the old style AirPods you would find the sound similar.

Anyone try using it with Android? I just need the ANC and transparency modes to work.

I still think even for those who fit the old AirPods the Pro model might well be a great upgrade because few of us have ears they fit EXACTLY and few of us listen in quiet environments only... AirPods Pro addresses both these issues very, very well. As for listening for better sound quality that's debatable and like I said I'm pretty sure the vast majority of better sound is just that you can hear what the little speakers are putting out better with ANC eliminating the noise pollution of your environment.

Thank you oh great audiophiles for your wisdome LOL. Speak for yourself. I love the original AirPods and have the new ones as well as Beats Pro and these are hands down the winners for me when it comes to sound.

You are both just giving your opinions here, nothing factural, as is everyone else.

fair enough... i had the AirPods 1, the Powerbeats Pro, and now the AirPods Pro. Your right its just my opinion that AirPods Pro are very similar to AirPods 1 and have less bass than Powerbeats Pro... but that doesn't mean I'm wrong ;-)
