Since the AirPods Pro have been out for a full 365 days, and I've been using them every single day since launch, I was curious how the remaining battery life is (since my first-generation AirPods had extreme battery drainage after a year). Out of my tests, the AirPods Pro still function almost as new! During testing, music was continuously playing.
- Noise-cancelling (from 100% to 0%) on 70% volume: 4 hours and 22 minutes (originally 4,5 hours).
- ANC off (from 100% to 0%) on 70% volume: 4 hours and 50 minutes (originally 5 hours).
- Transparency (from 100% to 0%) on 70% volume: 4 hours and 16 minutes (originally 4,5 hours).
The only thing that has significantly suffered for me is talk-time, which gets no more than two hours on a single charge (I can not accurately test this). And, for some reason, my battery depletes faster when the AirPods Pro are connected to a Mac. Also, the left AirPod dies a little later than the right one (about 5 minutes).
How are your AirPods (Pro) are holding up until now?
