Since the AirPods Pro have been out for a full 365 days, and I've been using them every single day since launch, I was curious how the remaining battery life is (since my first-generation AirPods had extreme battery drainage after a year). Out of my tests, the AirPods Pro still function almost as new! During testing, music was continuously playing.

- Noise-cancelling (from 100% to 0%) on 70% volume: 4 hours and 22 minutes (originally 4,5 hours).
- ANC off (from 100% to 0%) on 70% volume: 4 hours and 50 minutes (originally 5 hours).
- Transparency (from 100% to 0%) on 70% volume: 4 hours and 16 minutes (originally 4,5 hours).

The only thing that has significantly suffered for me is talk-time, which gets no more than two hours on a single charge (I can not accurately test this). And, for some reason, my battery depletes faster when the AirPods Pro are connected to a Mac. Also, the left AirPod dies a little later than the right one (about 5 minutes).

How are your AirPods (Pro) are holding up until now?

Curious if your originally measurements are from personal experience or if you've only based them from Apple's official marketing materials.

I got my AirPods Pro just this July 2020 and I'm getting about 20-40 minutes better than all of Apple's official claims. Huge note though, I mostly listen to music at 30-40% volume, lower than Apple's 50% testing used.

(ANC does a good job that I don't have to turn my music up as loud.)

They are measurements coming from Apple. However, I did test them back when the AirPods came out, and that was roughly 5 hours. And indeed, noise cancelling helps with the volume. I decided to test them now, to see whether they still held enough charge, or were elligible for a free battery replacement still within the warraanty.
