How about a water proof rating?? AirPods are known to fail with a lot of sweat. I don't dare run or indoor bike with mine since I'm a heavy sweater.

oops.. missed the footnote

AirPods Pro are sweat- and water- resistant for non-water sports and exercise and have a rating of IPX4 under IEC standard 60529.

My Air Pods went through a washing and drying cycle two years ago. All three pieces fell down when I opened the door of the dryer. Amazingly, they still work.

Waiting for first reviews. The "original" airpods were garbage in terms of fit (a faster walk and boom, looking for them on the ground, especialy the right one). If these "stay in" i might be tempted...

already ordered... very excited to try these again... the regular ones don't stay in my ear at all. i now use the powerbeats pro and those are fantastic but they aren't the nicest looking when not working out and aren't pocketable. since i have more money then sense here we go again... if these fit for me they will be my headphones for everything BUT working out.

What are the odds that the rubber tips are not removable?

From the press release:

All-New Design
AirPods revolutionized the wireless audio experience with a breakthrough design, and now AirPods Pro take it even further with a new class of lightweight, in-ear headphones engineered for comfort and fit. Each earbud comes with three different sizes of soft, flexible silicone ear tips that conform to the contours of each individual ear, providing both a comfortable fit and a superior seal — a critical factor in delivering immersive sound. To further maximize comfort, AirPods Pro use an innovative vent system to equalize pressure, minimizing the discomfort common in other in-ear designs. AirPods Pro are sweat- and water-resistant, making them perfect for active lifestyles.1

LOOOL.
Although I am not Hungarian, here in Hungary they cost about 270 EUR.
No thanks!

Pro earbuds... gotta be sick to order such things and the fact that they cost so much in poorer countries.... Mental :)))

How so? It’s the distance as the normal AirPods PLUS the silicone tips. That would definitely go to my ear canal (hence why I’d never buy them).
Doesn't matter the body of the pod-the tip needs to be longer to seat properly in the canal or the seal can break during exercise.

Can someone please explain what is "PRO" about these?

everyone needs to get over it. Apple uses the word "PRO" to mean a model that has extra features over another model they already sell. iPhone 11 (good) + extras = iPhone 11 Pro (great.) AirPods (good) + extra features = AirPods Pro (great.) iPad (good) + extra features = iPad Pro (great.)
