I’ve been looking for a good pair of wireless earbuds for awhile now. It’s extra frustrating for me, as I’m severely hearing impaired. I’ve recently tried the Amazon Echo Buds, but they weren’t loud enough either.

Was wondering if anyone know if the Airpods Pro are any louder than those? Or Apple’s normal earbuds?

Have you considered using a small headphone amp with a wired pair of earbuds or earphones? They aren't particularly expensive, and generally work very well.

Volume is very subjective and not easily quantifiable, isn't it? You could measure it, I suppose, but I doubt the average person knows what e.g. 10 decibels should sound like.

Perhaps your best bet is to try a pair in-store, if possible.

I actually have a wired pair I can hear pretty well just looking for a decent wireless pair.

That was my first thought. I don’t have a store nearby that has a demo pair.

I reckon they're worth a purchase online to try out, Desperado!

& if they're no good, you can return them (should be free of charge, but don't quote me on it).

Good luck mate.

In my experience, they are not as loud as the Gen 2 Airpods, if you have used them.
