I just got my AirPods Pro so I have a few questions.

1) The pods were inside the case for two days and in the package itself but when I connected it to my phone today the R pod had 54% battery the left at 76%. I thought it should charge as long as it’s in the case and the lid is closed?

2) Whenever I get a notification on my phone when it is locked, the AirPod notification pops up on the bottom. And if my phone is unlocked, it randomly pops up here and there. Is this normal or is it somehow losing connection and reconnecting causing this pop up?

And now it’s randomly showing 61%. This is stupid.

The first time you open the box they’re not at 100% as Apple blocks them from being fully charged before activation. This preserves the battery life.
They should charge to 100% once you start using them. Wait for them to fully charge and keep using them. The battery readings aren’t accurate all the time so don’t put too much weight on them as long as you’re hitting the 4.5-5hr cycle.
Refer to sticky thread!

How long should the case hold a full charge for?

Sorry I meant how long does the battery last on the case itself.

Altogether they should last close to 24 hours with both of them charged to 100%. The AirPods itself last 4.5 hours with ANC/Transparency mode enabled on a full charge.

I checked mine and they lasted over 23 hours with a couple hour calls.

Might be a good idea to drain the case and the pods, then 'start fresh' with charging.
Unless there is a way to 'reset' the pods and the case...

My AirPod case had 10% battery. Airpods ar 100%. I woke up today to wear it and the case is at 1% and the airpods at 53% L and 46% R. Does that sound right?

That actually doesn’t seem right. They shouldn’t drain that much overnight when they’re at 100%.
Have you tried fully charging both of them and observe how long they last?

I actually used it for a 37m run at 100% battery and when I returned it was at like 70% I think

The L always has more battery then the R.

Have you tried checking the runtimes? How long they actually last from 100 to 0? Ignore the readings for a second and see how the case and AirPods Pro fare under usage.
