Probably,y not until next year. The wireless case should be announced though to compliment the AirPower which is said to be announced next Friday

Doubtful. Other sources are indicating 2019 for a refresh as well. I think the current AirPods are still selling really well, and being an accessory, I don’t see this being updated very often.
